Golf with SLBGA ladies
A wonderful time was had at Tapawingo for End of Year Event. We had four groups of SLBGA members!
Two group of SLBGA members golfed in evening leagues this year. And one group golfed in the morning at Ruth Park.
Ruth Park, Thursday night, had over 25 golfers on and off through the year and the Highlands, Monday evening, had 16 golfers on and off. SLBGA will also be offering once a month 18 hole weekday play. Information on dates to follow.

Week Day Play
Weekday play is being set up for 18 holes once day a month. Please visit the calendar page for event coordinator and course. Tee times for upcoming play will be posted soon.
In case of questionable weather please call the course or the weekend coordinator that will be listed in your email or on the notification you receive.
Holidays
On holiday weekend we play on that Monday. Guest are invited to join us.
MEMORIAL Day, Monday, is TBD
LABOR Day, Monday, is TBD
There is no play schedule for Independence Day due to family gatherings and fireworks
Golf Event Reminders
Proper golf attire is required at every event. Most courses now require soft spikes or spikeless shoes. The SLBGA supports this policy.
Always arrive at the course half an hour before your scheduled tee time.
Golf play greeters will check you in and help you find your way around the facilities.
If you are late, the golf play coordinator reserves the right to rearrange foursomes to get all golfers out in a timely fashion.
Don’t be a no-show! If you find you are unable to play, please email, text or call the event coordinator.
Handicapping – GHIN
SLBGA members can handicap through the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association (MAGA).
Visit the MAGA website then click on handicap up at the top and scroll down to e-club.
If you have a handicapping number you have used in the past, you will use the same number. The cost is approximately $35 a year. SLBGA does not cover this cost, it is on the member to enroll. Scores cannot be added until March 1.
